Connor Threet, P.E., serves as Principal Engineer, bringing nearly a decade of diverse civil engineering experience across transportation, land development, and utility design. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Arkansas in 2016 and became a licensed Professional Engineer in 2020. Connor is currently licensed in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri.
Connor began his career in transportation design, building a strong technical foundation that has since expanded into extensive work in land development. His experience includes the planning and design of commercial and residential projects, as well as comprehensive utility infrastructure systems. Over the course of his career, he has contributed to hundreds of developments nationwide, ranging from commercial sites for national retailers to large-scale residential communities for leading homebuilders in Northwest Arkansas.
A member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Arkansas Section, Connor is committed to maintaining high standards of professional practice and staying engaged with the engineering community. His broad expertise, attention to detail, and practical approach to design make him a valuable leader in delivering successful, efficient, and sustainable projects.
Jake Chavis is an entrepreneur and civil engineering professional with extensive experience in land development, infrastructure planning, and project management. As Director of the firm, Jake leads the company’s engineering and development efforts, working closely with developers, municipalities, and property owners to guide projects from early concept through design, permitting, and construction.
Throughout his career, Jake has played a key role in a wide range of projects including residential and commercial developments, site design, drainage systems, utility infrastructure, and construction coordination. Known for his practical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities, he focuses on delivering efficient, buildable solutions that help clients move projects forward while meeting regulatory requirements and protecting public health, safety, and welfare.
Jake also brings a unique perspective to engineering projects through his experience in real estate. As a licensed real estate professional who actively participates in real estate development himself, he understands the financial, regulatory, and logistical challenges developers face. This experience allows him to better anticipate client needs and develop engineering solutions that align with both technical requirements and real-world development goals.
In addition to his professional work, Jake served for four years on the Environmental Action Committee for the City of Fayetteville, where he contributed to discussions surrounding environmental policy, sustainability initiatives, and responsible community growth.

With over 39 years of surveying experience Wayman’s responsibilities include performing boundary and topographic surveys using the latest Surveying methods. He also is proficient with the Arkansas State Plane Coordinates, Trimble RTK GPS Receivers, Total Stations, Trimble Robots, Trimble Scanners and SDMS Data Collecting. His project experience includes boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA / ACSM surveys, as-built surveys, subdivision surveys, tile surveys, route and right-of-way surveys and construction surveys.
John has a two year degree in surveying from the University of Arkansas Community College in Morrilton, Arkansas.
John is a Licensed Survey Intern with five years of hands-on experience; he brings a strong technical foundation and advanced field expertise to every project. Proficient in operating the latest Trimble RTK GPS Receivers, Total Stations, and scanners, he consistently delivers accurate and efficient land surveys across a variety of terrain and project types. His skill set extends to cutting-edge geospatial technologies, including aerial photogrammetry and LiDAR data acquisition, processing, and analysis. This blend of traditional surveying knowledge and modern data capture methods enables him to produce high-precision results for engineering, construction, and land development applications. He has a strong commitment to precision, safety, and innovation.
Jason Young brings over 20 years of experience in land development industry. He began his career performing fieldwork in surveying, where he developed a strong foundation in site analysis and data collection. Through dedication and initiative, Jason taught himself survey drafting and became highly proficient in industry-leading software, including Carlson Survey, Carlson Civil, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Jason is an excellent civil designer known for his precision and attention to detail. He takes a thoughtful and methodical approach to every project, often refining and redesigning plans multiple times before presenting them to ensure the most value-engineered (VE), efficient, and practical solution possible.
Over the course of his career, Jason has established himself as an expert in both commercial and residential land development projects, consistently delivering high-quality results for a wide range of clients.
In addition to his professional work, Jason has been an active member of the Fayetteville Board of Adjustment since 2022 and currently serves as Vice Chair, contributing his expertise to local planning and development decisions.

Daisuke Kokubu, EIT Civil Engineer Daisuke Kokubu is an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with over eight years of civil engineering experience supporting complex military construction projects across Japan. He specializes in both vertical and horizontal infrastructure, including large-scale facility development, base-wide utility systems, and marine structures such as seawalls and wharves.
Daisuke earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Portland State University in 2011, along with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in 2010. He has a strong technical foundation, and is fluent in English and Japanese.
Throughout his career with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Japan District, Daisuke has led and coordinated multidisciplinary design efforts, developed technical standards tailored to the Japanese construction environment, and served as a key liaison between U.S. military installations and the Government of Japan.
His work has included design management, contract negotiation, development of engineering criteria, and in-house design of site and utility systems for military facilities.
In addition to his engineering expertise, Daisuke brings experience in architectural-engineering contract management, including preparing statements of work, developing independent government estimates, and negotiating contracts for award. He has also contributed to value engineering initiatives, identifying cost-effective design solutions and optimizing project outcomes.
Daisuke is recognized for his leadership, technical precision, and commitment to mentorship, having trained interns and contributed to professional development within his teams. His work has earned multiple awards, including the FY2024 Quarterly Award of Excellence.
Jillian joins our team as an Administrator and is responsible for scheduling, project tracking and proposal creation. She graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Mass Communications. Prior to joining Odyssey, Jillian was an Administrative Assistant at Comvest Partners in West Palm Beach, Florida, where she supported C-suite executives and senior leadership. She was responsible for managing complex schedules, travel coordination and ensuring logistics run seamlessly. Before that, she was a Guest Relations Supervisor at The Breakers hotel in Palm Beach.
Jamie Joheim began her career in the surveying and mapping industry in 2007, gaining hands-on experience in aerial mapping and geospatial data production across Arkansas. Early in her career, she developed strong technical skills in AutoCAD and mapping workflows while contributing to aerial survey and mapping projects throughout the region.
Over the years, Jamie has built a diverse background that includes project management, engineering design coordination, and field inspection work on large mechanical, civil, and structural engineering projects. Her experience spans both office and field environments, allowing her to effectively bridge technical data, design requirements, and real-world construction conditions.
Jamie is a Certified Survey Technician (CST) through the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS) and holds certifications as a Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Inspector and a FARO 3D Scanning Operator, providing expertise in advanced digital documentation and inspection technologies. She has contributed to projects in nearly every state across the United States, supporting teams with surveying, scanning, mapping, and inspection services.
Outside of her professional work, Jamie is an active member of the arts community. A multi-instrumentalist, she performs with local bands and community theater productions in the Little Rock area and serves as the parish organist for her church.
